About Mark Holt

Mark Holt came out of college as a computer programmer, making the leap to entrepreneur in 2000, shortly before the dot com crash. That was the beginning of a series of questionable life decisions, continuing in 2007 when he bought a home to cash in on the strength of the exploding real estate market, and culminating, in 2011, with his viewing of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. Today, he works as an unpublished fantasy novelist, which only goes to show you that, if you will only follow your dream, you too can go from trapped in a high-paying job to spectacularly unemployed. He does, however, make an interesting observation from time to time; and, we suppose, his writing is more or less intelligible; okay, if you twist our arms, we'll also say he occasionally has flashes of wit. He's been from top to bottom and all over the world. Along the way he's met some incredible people and even picked up a few facts, but mostly, let's face it, he's had plenty of time to sit alone and think about stuff. If you have an open mind, if you take the time to read his blog, and if you don't have anything better to do, maybe you, too, can think about stuff.
